Description: This two-day intensive workshop is designed for academic and clinical nurse educators. The goal of the workshop is to assist nurse educators to integrate EBP-related content into their course design. There will be didactic components as well as small group work to provide hands-on learning.

Presenters: Faculty from the Helene Fuld Health Trust National Insitute for Evidence-based Practice in Nursing and Healthcare at the Ohio State University College of Nursing

Learner Objectives:
  1. Discuss the evolution of EBP; its language, constructs, and skills
  2. Differentiate the constructs, language and skills of EBP, Research, Quality Improvement and Implementation Science
  3. Describe approaches to teaching and integrating evidence-based practice into courses and across curricula
  4. Apply principles and concepts of teaching and learning to create learning experiences that build EBP competency and support integration of EBP into academic and clinical practice.
The cost of the workshop is $400 (early-bird pricing is $325 if registered by 1/17/2022). The cost includes workshop tuition, continental breakfast, and a boxed lunch for both days. Airfare, ground transportation, and hotel accommodations are NOT covered.
