Information to help you consider whether to join the scheme is available on the fees, charges and donations page on the Education website. The Education and Training Act 2020 came into effect on 1 August 2020. It supports the school donations scheme announced as part of Budget 2019 and allows the Ministry of Education to make the donations payment and recover funding paid to schools that do not comply with the scheme’s conditions.
