1. Community Service Day
Thank you for your interest in participating in the Rosenberg Center for Student Involvement's annual Community Service Day, scheduled for Friday April 13 from 9:00 a.m. -4:00 p.m.
This is your opportunity to join more than 200 UB students, faculty and staff to dedicate a day of service to one of the participating sites throughout the Baltimore community for an unforgettable day of service.
Community Service Day is open to the entire UB community and is specifically designed to meet established UB learning outcomes.
As a result of participating in Community Service Day, you will:
- have fun getting to know UB students, staff and faculty
- work with a team to improve Baltimore
- learn about community organizations in Baltimore
- make a positive difference in the lives of Baltimore citizens
The event is open to all members of the UB community. You need not sign up ahead of time to attend the event, however please let us know if you are interested by completing the form below.
IMPORTANT: Site assignments will be handled differently this year. For the first time, you will choose your site the morning of Community Service Day rather than be pre-assigned. We'll have about a dozen sites to choose from. Because spaces at sites are limited, it's important to arrive early to ensure you get your preferred site.
Early sign-up is appreciated; however, we will be accepting walk-ins as well.
NOTE: If you plan to participate as a part of a team, then your whole team must be present in order to sign up for a site together.
