Club of the Year Nominations

Club of the Year awards (CofY) was introduced in 2012 to reward clubs which were doing well off the field. Clubs were nominated by AU Sport staff based on results from the ‘Club Reporting Survey’ and their general experience with the club. Clubs now have the opportunity to nominate themselves.

The aim of this award is to still recognise clubs with strong off-field management. The criteria still value a number of mandatory requirements and these areas would be of higher value compared to others.  If a club does not meet these requirements, they would be ‘punished’ by receiving a lower points score but not ruled out.

The AU Sport Board will use a points system, where points are allocated based on the level of achievement, to score clubs. A “comments” section is provided to allow those submitting the application to expand on their results.
