The Center on Inclusive Technology & Education Systems (CITES) is a national technical assistance (TA) center funded by the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs and led by CAST and American Institutes for Research (AIR).

CITES will be creating a Framework built on research and evidence-based practices that can be used by districts to create inclusive technology ecosystems. CITES will select up to 10 school districts to partner with us on the development of the Framework. We’re looking for district members that represent a wide range of experiences in exploring the connections among Assistive Technology (AT) and Educational Technology (EdTech) systems, including schools that are just starting this process.

Please read the responsibilities, benefits, and criteria for Framework Development Teams before beginning this application. You may make edits to your application until submission. To revisit and edit your application, use the same device and web browser you used to start the survey because a cookie is stored in your browser that remembers your survey responses. A PDF of the application is available for reference.

The deadline for applying is Friday, November 8, 2019. Your district may be contacted for a follow up conversation after submission of your application if more information is needed. Notification of your application status will be sent by December 13, 2019.
