City of Beaver Bay Community Engagement Survey

The City of Beaver Bay is updating its Comprehensive Plan and would appreciate your input through this survey. A Comprehensive Plan is a document which records a public planning process that expresses a community's vision and lays out how the local government will reach that vision.  The Comprehensive Plan:

·         Creates the opportunity for residents to participate in guiding a community’s future

·         Addresses community issues such as housing, transportation and utilities

·         Preserves important cultural, natural and agricultural resources

·         Identifies issues, stay ahead of trends, and accommodate change

·         Ensures that growth makes the community better, not just bigger

·         Fosters sustainable economic development

·         Provides an opportunity to consider future implications of today’s decisions

·         Protects property rights and values

We value your opinion! The results of this survey will be used in the development of the comprehensive plan. Specifically, the aggregate results of this survey will be presented to the Comprehensive Plan Committee who will provide a recommendation to the City Council. The Council will use the results in their final decision to adopt the Comprehensive Plan document including community goals and strategies.

The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.
