The All Aboard Atlantic pop-up demonstration project temporarily implements a combination of traffic slowing bump-outs, advisory bike lanes, and improved pedestrian crossings. The project provides an opportunity to:

·       Improve bicycle and pedestrian safety
·       Allow the community to test out the modifications and provide feedback at a minimal cost
·       Encourage more walking and cycling among residents as an alternative to driving
·       Support equity and inclusivity in the community through the creation of streets that work for people of all abilities and methods of travel

Question Title

* 11. When a road such as Atlantic is narrow there is only so much space that can accommodate a wide variety of uses and methods of travel. The advisory bike lane configuration allows for two-way car traffic, bicyclists, pedestrians, and on-street parking to share the space in a way that mimics the “yield streets” that are common in Collingswood. With that said, there are often trade-offs that can be considered to allow for other types of bike infrastructure, such as dedicated bike lanes. Are you in favor of eliminating or implementing any of the following trade-offs?
