About this Survey

Thank you for taking the time to fill out this survey!  This research is conducted by Shelly Lyons, Doctoral Candidate at Royal Roads University, in partnership with MORE Network, a ministry of Outreach Canada.  This research is funded, in part, by MITACS and is aligned with her doctoral research.

If you are an Adult Third Culture Kid (you lived in a country other than your passport country for at least one year between the ages of 0-18 or you lived cross-culturally within your passport country for at least one year between the ages of 0-18), we would appreciate you filling out this survey.  We are looking for participants from all backgrounds, all age groups, and from anywhere in the world.

Please note: Some questions may trigger unwanted reflection on existing struggles or past experiences. If you need support, please contact more@outreach.ca and we will connect you with the appropriate person.

This survey will take approximately 30 minutes to complete and will cover how your TCK experience has impacted various aspects of your adult life.

Your participation in this survey is completely voluntary and you can withdraw at any time prior to clicking submit.  If you choose to withdraw before clicking submit, none of your answers will be recorded.

Your answers are completely anonymous. Data collected will be used exclusively for research and subsequent publication in journal articles and conference presentations. Answers to open-ended questions may be appear in reports as direct quotations.

Data may be stored on or accessible by servers in the United States, and may be subject to examination by government or law enforcement under the Patriot Act. While this likelihood is small, I am required to let you/my participants know this possible risk.
