Thank you for being willing to share the details (anonymously) of your adoption experience. Each year, Adoptive Families polls families across the nation to determine the average cost and length of adoption, by type and country. The final information is shared with our magazine readers and on the Adoptive Families (www.adoptivefamilies.com) website.

We've heard from many families just starting out in adoption that the final survey results are immensely helpful to them. Of course, the more data we collect, the more accurate the picture we can present. We're once again offering a special giveaway to encourage more families to share their adoption experiences. If more than 1,000 adoptive parents who adopted in 2017 or 2018 complete this Adoption Cost & Timing Survey, we'll randomly select one and donate $200 to the adoption charity of his or her choice!

All respondents who complete the survey will also be entered in a random drawing for the chance to win a one-year membership to adoptivefamilies.com, either new or a renewal, which includes monthly digital issues of Adoptive Families magazine. Five memberships will be awarded, total.

No personal or individual data will be reported. (Read our full Privacy Policy.)

* Please note, all questions marked with an asterisk (*) are required in order to progress to the next page and complete the survey.

Question Title

* 1. In what year did you complete your most recent adoption?

(If you adopted in 2016 or earlier, we thank you for your interest in taking this survey, but we're trying to capture only the most recent data. If you know any parents who adopted in 2017 or 2018 who you think would be willing to anonymously share their adoption cost and timing information, we'd appreciate your passing them the link!)
