This Questionnaire is aiming to collect information about Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) including malfunction on telecommunication or IT equipment caused by noise on AC mains (power line) below 150 kHz. Collected information will be analysed in order to establish appropriate EMC requirement below 150 kHz.

The number of emission sources below 150 kHz, such as a Power Conditioning Subsystem (PCS) and Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) is increasing. Therefore, it is foreseen that the electromagnetic noise below 150 kHz at AC mains will increase in telecommunication equipment and may cause interferences. Some interference to telecommunication systems has been reported for this study however at present there is insufficient information related to this phenomenon.

Therefore, this Questionnaire is issued in order to ask to all ITU-T Member States, Sector Members, Academia, and Associates to provide their input.

Question 9/5 is responsible for developing Recommendations relating to generic and product family EMC requirement.
