Awards for Excellence recognize outstanding individuals, public entity pools, and others who showcase the very best and brightest of pooling.

Eligibility for the Leadership Award

The Award for Excellence in Leadership is for a person who is directly affiliated with a pool. The Leadership Award honors:

  • Transformative leadership
  • Actions that played a pivotal role in resolving challenges faced by a pool
  • Mentorship and helping develop others

Nominees must be employed by or contracted for service specifically to a pool, and affiliated with their specific AGRiP member pool for the last three or more consecutive years. Similarly, the pool must have been in operation for three or more consecutive years.
