PNCB: Future Pharmacology Module Content |
Thank you in advance for your time and opinions. Your answers to these 7 questions will help guide PNCB as we develop future Pharmacology content to better meet your needs.
Background: Since 2010, PNCB has offered two types of Pharmacology Pediatric Updates modules for the primary care nurse practitioner: Pharmacology Current Concepts and Pharmacology Specialty modules. In 2015, we added a Pharmacology module specific to the acute care PNP role.
Modules are developed by a committee of your peers who use current journal articles or a foundational publication from which to write assessment questions. The textbook reference selected by our diverse Pharmacology Pediatric Updates Committee is Lexicomp’s Pediatric & Neonatal Dosage Handbook, because it is the official reference of the American Pharmacists Association. (Note that PNCB does not receive a financial benefit from Lexicomp when you purchase this reference).
