2025 Walt Campbell Award Application

Every year the Michigan State AFL-CIO Community Services School awards one student with the prestigious Walt Campbell Community Services Award. The Award, created in 1977, honors former Michigan State AFL-CIO Secretary/Treasurer Walter Campbell for his dedication and commitment to community service involvement at the local and state levels.

The Walt Campbell Community Services Award is the most prestigious community services award given in the state. This year’s Award winner will be celebrated at the 2026 Walt Campbell Community Services Award Dinner on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at IBEW Local 252 in Ann Arbor, MI. Individuals may nominate another person or self-nominate. Award application must be received by September 30th, 2025 to be considered.
