Backyard Chickens Survey

Staff have received calls over the years regarding the keeping of backyard chickens.  Most individuals who move to the township believe that the keeping of chickens is already permitted on all properties and are quite astonished that this rural township only allows for backyard chickens in certain zones. Currently chickens are allowed in the Rural zones provided the property is a minimum of 2 (two) hectares and they are permitted in Agricultural zones provided the property is a minimum of 20 (twenty) hectares and are permitted when farm is a permitted use. Please complete the survey and send back to info@admastonbromley.com.  The survey can also be found on our website under News and Notices  www.admastonbromley.com. Surveys MUST be returned by April 12, 2023.
