This survey covers the same concepts that were presented and ranked at three public meetings on February 9. For those who couldn't attend the meetings, please take this survey and rank:

1). services that could be provided in a new library building west of the river (to replace the Randall Oaks Library) and

2). the appearance of a new library building.

Our users, along with library consultants, agree that more space, materials, and programs are needed to satisfy the needs of the community on both sides of the river.

Two public sessions in the fall centered on renovation plans for the Dundee Library, including renovating the township space and adding a drive up book return window. Cost estimates are now being prepared.

Plans call for a new building to be located near the current Randall Oaks Library to balance library services and accommodate projected growth.

The library district serves 70,000 people in East Dundee, West Dundee, Carpentersville, Sleepy Hollow, Gilberts, and parts of Algonquin, Elgin, and Barrington Hills.
