The NH Council on Developmental Disabilities feels that it is important to recognize initiatives in NH that are focused on recreation as a means of including and integrating people with disabilities into the community.
The NHCDD is currently soliciting nominations for the year’s award, which will be presented in December 2023. 
The eligibility criteria for this award include:
·       NH-based initiative
·       Relatively small annual or project budget
·       Relies heavily on volunteers
·       Provides integrated recreational opportunities that enrich participation in community life
