By participating in the Community Tourism Sentiments Survey, you are agreeing to these cash prize terms and conditions. Please read carefully.

The cash prizes are being run by the PNG Tourism Promotion Authority.


Eligibility to enter

  • Open to residents of Papua New Guinea aged 18 and above.
  • Survey link will be disseminated via mobile text message and on PNGTPA social media platforms.
  • Participation implies consent for research purposes.
  • One entry per individual permitted.
  • Cash prizes accessible upon providing email address.

How to enter

  • Complete the survey with provided email address and submit.
  • PNGTPA not responsible for incomplete or inaccurate contact details.

Survey Deadline

  • Survey closes on May 17th, 2024, at 12 pm PNG time.

The Prize

  • Total prize amount: K5600.
  • Prize distribution:
    • 1st Place: K1000
    • 2nd Place: K500
    • 3rd Place: K400
    • 4th Place: K300
    • 5th Place: K250
    • 6th Place: K200
    • 7th Place: K150
    • 8th - 35th Places: K100 each
  • Prize monies drawn at random for each participating province.
  • Prizes are non-exchangeable.
  • PNGTPA's decision on prizes is final and binding.

Winner announcement

  • Winners contacted via email within 14 days.
  • Winner names posted on PNGTPA social media platforms within 14 days.
  • Attempts will be made to contact winners via phone.
  • Failure to respond within 14 days forfeits prize.
Receipt of the prize
  • Allow 14 days for prize money transfer or alternative arrangements.


Data protection and publicity
  • Personal information used solely for administering cash prizes.
  • Winners agree to release of names and locations for prize administration.
  • Winner announcement via PNGTPA's social media and website.


Limitation of Liability
  • PNGTPA not liable for any damage, loss, or injury resulting from participation.
  • PNGTPA's liability excludes death or personal injury due to negligence.


General
  • Prize monies and terms governed by PNG law.
  • Disputes subject to exclusive jurisdiction of Papua New Guinea courts.
