Welcome to the health sector technology readiness survey

The Australian Academy of Technology and Engineering is undertaking a major research project, supported by the Australian Research Council, examining how different sectors of the Australian economy are preparing to take advantage of new and emerging technologies to address sectoral challenges over the next decade.

In 2019, the project is focusing on the health sector.

The Academy has identified a number of megatrends, technologies, solutions and outcomes that will impact and shape the health sector in the decade to 2030. These are shown in Figure 1 below.

Within this framework, the Academy is examining the health sector’s readiness to develop, adapt, or adopt new technologies to address the megatrends and achieve the desired outcomes by 2030. This survey will request your assessment of the health sector's readiness in five key areas. This information will be used to inform the Academy's final readiness assessment and policy and research recommendations.

The survey should take about 5-10 minutes to complete. Thank you again for your time, and if you have any questions or feedback please feel welcome to contact us at policy@applied.org.au

Any personal information you provide in this survey will be used by the Academy to manage and analyse your submission for the purpose of analysing the technology readiness of the Australian health sector.
