2016-17 Mentor/Coach Background Information 

In the 2016-2017 School Year, the Illinois Principals Association will continue to offer mentoring for new principals and other administrators as well as coaching for experienced principals and educational leaders. It is the intention of IPA to contract paid mentoring and coaching services with IPA professional development program participants, districts, and the Illinois State Board of Education. In order to be eligible for a contract to mentor or coach for IPA, you must:

1. Ensure that your IPA membership is current

2. For NEW Mentors and Coaches - Register and complete the comprehensive, year-long IPA Mentor and Coach

    Development Program which provides full training, application of skills and knowledge, and real life coaching practice ($199)

    and complete Mentor/Coach Background Information

3. For RETURNING Mentors and Coaches - Update Mentor/Coach Background Information, complete Evidence of Current

    Knowledge and Practice, and register and participate in the IPA Mentor and Coach Continuing Development Program (no fee)
