Has your agency been considering microtransit? This two-part hands-on workshop will help small-urban and rural agencies understand how microtransit could fit into their service delivery model.

Hosted by the National Center for Applied Transit Technology (N-CATT), attendees will learn about the fundamentals of fixed-route and microtransit services, their complementary nature, the principles of conducting a microtransit suitability analysis, and how to interpret the results. Each of these topics will be illustrated using sample scenarios and engaging, hands-on activities that will allow participants to explore the concepts and tools they can apply to their home systems.

The workshop will include two virtual sessions, each from 2:30 to 5:00 p.m. Eastern, held on June 6 and June 8, 2023.

The workshop will include optional take-home activities to maximize participants' learning opportunities.

The two-part workshop was approved by the APA to count towards 4.5 CMs for AICP-certified-attendees. Each of the individual sessions can be counted toward 2.25 CMs. You must attend each session in full to claim the individual session credits.

The following pages of this registration form include several survey questions. Your responses will give us valuable input to make the workshop as relevant as possible to you and your agency.

We appreciate the broad interest that exists around this topic. However, this workshop is formatted for transit agency practitioners to allow them to freely exchange ideas and discuss best practices. Because N-CATT is a technical assistance center funded by the FTA to support small-urban, rural, and tribal transit agencies, registration priority will be given to small-urban, rural, and tribal transit agencies. Other agencies, members of the private sector, and transit advocacy groups who are interested in the workshop will be placed on the waiting list, with access to the workshop based on availability.

Space is limited, register ASAP to reserve your spot!
