Exit LGBTIQA+ Health and Wellbeing Survey 2023 1. About this survey Thank you for participating in the 2023 Health and Wellbeing Survey. The information collected will be used to improve healthcare services for LGBTIQA+ people and your communities. The survey will take about 20 minutes to complete (depending on your answers). Your answers are anonymous - we do not know who you are when you respond. All responses will be collated in final reports and publications. Nothing written into these reports will identify individual people. This year the survey is also part-funded by the Department of Health as part of its commitment to improving mental health services for diverse communities, in line with recommendations from the Royal Commission into Victoria's Mental Health System. Your responses will feed into current reviews of statewide mental health services. Please note that some questions: Ask how you describe your gender, sexuality and other social and cultural characteristics. This is to help us understand which groups of people are represented among the survey participants. Ask about difficult experiences you may have had around mental health, access to healthcare services, discrimination and your relationships. This is so that we better understand the wider context of your experiences. You will be offered support services when you reach these sections of the survey. You can also skip these questions, or stop the survey at any time.Further information can be found on the project information page and by downloading the Participant Information Sheet (link at bottom of project page).
