INTRODUCTION
Open call for Workshop Presenters
We are looking for workshop facilitators or presenters on topics that educate, inspire and connect LGBTQ+ youth from grade 7 to 12 in Waterloo Region for our annual Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) Conference, which is organized and sponsored by the Ontario Trillium Foundation, the Waterloo Region District School Board and the OK2BME Program at KW Counselling.
The overall focus of the conference is gender and sexuality awareness, and will have four workshop streams: 1. Creative Arts, 2. Gender and Sexuality, 3. Leadership and 4. Wellness.
Workshops will be one hour in length. Anyone is welcome to apply to run a workshop or presentation, either as an individual, as a group representative or on behalf of an organization. If you would like to apply, please complete the online application form by clicking on NEXT below.
The OK2BME Youth Leadership group will review all applications. Workshops will be picked based upon their strength of application, scheduling logistics and efforts to maximize diverse community representation. An honorarium will be available to all presenters.

Location: Bingeman’s Conference Centre, Kitchener Ontario
Deadline: This online application will be open until Friday, September 20th 2019 at 5:00 pm.
