YWCA Glendale and Pasadena will offer a new after school TechGYRLS® program in partnership with The City Of Pasadena Parks, Recreation, And Community Services Department.
The TechGYRLS® program seeks to empower young girls in the areas of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) and to encourage them to pursue careers within these fields, particularly for underrepresented girls. TechGYRLS® is a place to dream, explore new ideas, learn new skills, and be creative through STEAM activities.

TechGYRLS® workshops include Sphero and LEGO® Robotics, Google Coding, and the Caltech Mentor Program. Through our partnership with CaltechY & ASCIT at California Institute of Technology, we are able to match TechGYRLS® with Caltech students and offer in-person group mentoring.
