Hold off on responding and hope they just won’t ask again.

Keep current plans but ask to explore alternative ways to be helpful at a different time.

Offer to work a half-day, preserving the morning for personal activities.

Firmly decline, stating you will not come in on your days off.

Ask for an explanation of why you need to be there and change plans if the explanation is reasonable.

* How do you address a team member consistently being late?

Discuss the issue with someone of higher authority and ask for advice.

Ignore the lateness, as it's none of your business.

Confront the individual and implement consequences.

Offer to adjust their schedule going forward, but emphasize the expectation for punctuality if that change is made.

Offer a ride to work or during lunch – maybe they need some help.
