AAPS seeks experienced scientists to lead the PharmSci 360 Abstract Screening Committee!

The 2024 National Biotechnology Conference Abstract Screening Committee (ASC) manages the screening process for poster abstracts submitted for presentation at the 2024 National Biotechnology Conference, taking place in person, May 13-16, 2024, at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square, San Francisco, CA. 

Available Positions

AAPS members may apply for the following positions:
  • Vice Chair
  • Track Screening Chair 
  • Track Screening Leader
Volunteer Requirements
  • Must be an AAPS member through May 31, 2024.
  • Must monitor the review process for screeners daily from January 26 - February 14, 2024.
  • Must not be a member of another AAPS Committee.*

Application Deadline: Monday, December 4, 2023.

Applicants will be notified about their application status in early January 2024.

*Attention: AAPS members are prohibited from serving on more than one AAPS Committee at a time to ensure that many voices from the membership are represented in AAPS’ governance and in the selection of science and programming.

Members will not be considered for roles on other committees until their term is complete.

Members may participate in short-term volunteer activities (e.g., task forces, moderating a session, serving as a mentor) at any time, regardless of their service on an AAPS Committee.
