Introduction

What's YOUR social justice? Thinking about planning an event for 'DEIS Impact 2017? We're looking for workshops, discussions, performances, speakers, films, exhibits...anything exploring or advancing social justice. This is your chance to share your vision of social justice with the community, helping to create 'DEIS Impact in the process.


--> Important Dates and Deadlines:

Proposals due: Thursday, October 13, 2016 by midnight (firm)

Proposers notified: no later than Tuesday, October 25, 2016

Mandatory proposers dinner meeting: Wednesday, October 26, 2016, 5:00-6:30 pm (Abraham Shapiro Academic Complex Atrium, across from Heller School; dinner served)

Final event details and description for the booklet: Friday, November 4, 2016 by midnight (firm)

Last minute changes to event setup: Tuesday, January 17, 2016 by 5pm

--> Here are the questions you'll be asked in this application (please note that you will NOT be able to get back into your application once you press "submit"):

Section One: Applicant Information (your biographical info, club, program, etc)

Section Two: Event Information (event type, title, description, info about speakers, audience size, preferred space, date, and time)

Section Three: Funding (anticipated funding needs and sources)

Section Four: Event Goals
This section tells us how your event helps build a more just society and asks for followup ideas that can be included in the 'DEIS Impact program booklet.

Section Five: How did you hear about 'DEIS Impact (optional)

You will be notified of your proposal's status no later than Tuesday, Oct. 25.
