Survey for Approaches to Teaching the Works of James Baldwin

This survey is designed to gather information about instructors’ methods and materials for teaching the novels, stories, essays, plays, and poems of James Baldwin (1924–87). The results will help us develop a new volume on the topic in the MLA series Approaches to Teaching World Literature.

In addition to participating in the survey, you are encouraged to submit a proposal for a contribution to the volume. Please review item 9 for submission details. We welcome responses from teachers at all levels of higher education (from high school to graduate study) and from all kinds of institutions and teaching contexts.
