Love parks and protected areas? Take this short survey to tell us more.

Australia's Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, Brazil’s Jau National Park in the Amazon Rainforest, the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, Triglav National Park in Slovenia and the Grand Canyon National Park in the United States, are all well-known examples of famous parks and protected areas. However, parks and protected areas extend well beyond these iconic places and can be found throughout the world. Some are big, some small, some terrestrial, some marine, some both, but all are important and celebrate nature.

In celebration of the 60th Anniversary of the IUCN World Commission on Protected Areas (WCPA) —the leading experts on the subject— the Commission on Education and Communications (CEC) is asking people worldwide: Why do you love parks and protected areas? Our hope is to identify a TOP 10 list, so we really want your input!

We’ve never done this before and hope you will help. By taking part in this global survey and telling us your favourite things about parks and protected area, we’ll better understand and communicate what’s important or special to people from around the world. And, as an added incentive, if you vote, you will be entered to win a limited edition #NatureForAll T-shirt!
