In ACCE’s 2022 sales coach program, ACCE and Membership Development Division volunteers will match experienced chamber membership development professionals with less experienced professionals for regular advice, coaching, and problem-solving on a mutually convenient schedule over a six-month period (mid-February through mid-August 2022). Members of the cohort will also meet together twice for group discussions and information sessions. The group will also have a dedicated portal in ACCE’s online learning portal and an online discussion group for online discussion and brainstorming. 

Although attendance at ACCE's annual convention (July 26-29, 2022) is not required, cohort members who do attend will have an opportunity to meet together informally at the convention. They will also receive a $100 discount on registration for ACCE's Sales Training Conference. Coaching pairs will be encouraged to meet individually at the sales training conference, if both are attending. 

Coaches will receive 5 CCE credits at the completion of the program. As a thank you, they will also receive a complementary ACCE eCourse or discount at a future regional event (sales or events training conference) for themselves or their team, and recognition at the ACCE convention.

Expectations for participating:

Each coach will meet virtually with the membership development professional with whom they are matched at least once per month throughout the entire cohort period (February through August 2022). Meetings will be scheduled by each coaching pair at their convenience. 

Specific goals and accountability measures will be set by each coaching pair. 

ACCE will provide optional guidance to assist in structuring these meetings, but structure, focus, and organization of the meetings and topics covered will be left to the individual coach/cohort member pair. 

There will be three calls for all coaches to meet together in which coaches should make every effort to participate. The calls will be scheduled for February 28, May 16, and August 1, all at 2 pm ET.
