Made possible by the generosity of Sibu P. Saha, MD, MBA, the TSF Saha Scholarships provide the opportunity for junior cardiothoracic surgeons from India and cardiothoracic surgery residents from the US, Canada or India to attend the STS Annual Meeting. The scholarship covers meeting registration, three nights of lodging at a partner hotel, coach class transportation and a stipend for meals and ground transportation. 

The following candidates are eligible for this scholarship:
- Cardiothoracic surgeons within three years of first faculty appointment at an academic center in India
- Cardiothoracic surgery residents enrolled in an ACGME-accredited program in the US or Canada
- Cardiothoracic surgery residents enrolled in an accredited residency program in India

Because of possible delays with obtaining a travel visa, candidates are eligible for a scholarship to attend either the STS 60th Annual Meeting, January 27 - 29, 2024 in San Antonio, Texas, USA or the STS 61st Annual Meeting, January 25 - 27, 2025 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
