2017 Blazers Summer Basketball Camps
(for children entering 3rd-10th Grade in the Fall of 2017)

July 17th-20 or August 7th-10th at The Fay School (Monday thru Thursday, 9am-3pm)

Hi Parents -, we will have 2 options for you this summer - the week of July 17th and the week of August 7th! As the game is evolving and perimeter shooting is becoming the strategic weapon, this summer we will be increasing our focus on shooting mechanics and including some new teaching methods to help players develop solid shooting mechanics. As part of that WE WILL BE DOING A VIDEO ANALYSIS OF EACH PLAYER'S SHOOTING MECHANICS and will be using this to help them understand what they should be focusing on as they "work on their shot" over the summer and fall. We will also be supporting families that need to drop off early or pick up late. Here are some additional details:

UNIQUE PROGRAM: We will leverage the skill development model we have built (and continue to enhance) for the digital coaching platform we provide to youth leagues in more than 30 states. Local players will be able to take advantage of our years of focus on researching/creating/testing the most effective methods for developing skills in young players. In addition to lots of fundamental skill work, we will also include a focus on Strength, Speed, Endurance, Coordination, and Flexibility - including an educational component so players understand these concepts and how important they are for any sport...and for a healthy life. We will also have skills challenges and the players will have plenty of opportunity to scrimmage.

With 4 courts and 12 rims, the Harlow Gym at The Fay School is a great facility for players looking to improve their game. Your son/daughter should find plenty of other players at his/her grade level - this will make for a really fun camp with lots of age appropriate skill development!

PRICING:: Either Session: 9am-3pm: $295

Early Drop Off/Late Pick Up: you may drop off as early as 8am and you may pickup as late as 5pm - $12 per hour (min 1 hr per day)

Waiver: As the parent or legal guardian of the participant named above, I hereby give my full consent and approval for my child to participate in this program. I understand that there are certain risks of injury inherent in the practice and play of this sport, and I am willing to assume these risks on behalf of my child. I hereby certify that my child is fully capable of participating in the designated sport and that my child is healthy and has no physical or mental disabilities or infirmities that would restrict full participation in these activities, except as listed above. I understand that my medical insurance is expected to cover the cost of my child’s injuries. (“AYS”) during this program. I understand that the term "photograph" as used herein encompasses both still photgraphs and motion picture footage. Provided that AYS DOES NOT IDENTIFY MY CHILD'S LAST NAME, NOR TOWN OF RESIDENCE in these photographs or recordings, I irrevocably consent to the use of these photographs and/or recordings singularly or in conjunction with other photographs and/or recordings for advertising, publicity, commercial or other business purposes, as well as to the reproduction and/or authorization by AYS to reproduce and use said photographs and recordings of my child's voice, for use in all domestic and foreign markets. Program Dismissal: I understand that if my child becomes a discipline problem, he/she will be dismissed from the program, and that no money will be refunded.
