Cyber Security Capacity in Canadian Agriculture:  Producer Survey

This survey is for farm operators only.

The agri-food system is a vital sector of the national economy and our global position. Farmers, as business people and entrepreneurs, are at the front lines of maintaining strong and resilient rural communities.

Digital technologies are changing how we produce food and how we distribute it.

This survey is part of the Cyber Security Capacity in Canadian Agriculture project – a national, multi-year, initiative partly funded by the Government of Canada.  This program aims to strengthen cybersecurity capacity within Canada’s agricultural sector.

The purpose of this survey is to look at how farmers understand and experience cybersecurity in their day-to-day work. The results of this survey will be used to develop information and recommendations to help farmers safeguard their operations. This survey draws from work carried out in Canada and elsewhere, to help us better understand how farmer experiences in this country compare to other areas and sectors. To our knowledge, this is the first comprehensive survey of cybersecurity focusing on the Canadian farm sector.

Participation in this survey is voluntary and confidential. No personally identifying information will be attached to any reports resulting from this survey. For further information, or to share any concerns, please visit the website of the Community Safety Knowledge Alliance: www.cskacanada.ca
