RNZYS Barcelona Member Cards – Independent Traveller

If you are an independent traveler – you will require an RNZYS Barcelona Membership card. The cost of this card is $25. Please confirm if you would like to collect this from the RNZYS or have this sent out to you. Postage costs are $10 in New Zealand and $25.00 to all overseas addresses. Multiple cards can be sent for one postage fee.

Note: Fully Hosted Tour Group Members and Event Package Group Members receive this card automatically.

The RNZYS has access to

- 50 places in the Emirates Team New Zealand Corporate Hospitality offering each day of racing over the entire race period. This hospitality includes complimentary food and beverage.

- Guaranteed access to Real Club Nautico De Barcelona (RCNB) for a set number of members per race day (number various across different race days) Food and beverage will be charged on consumption. RCNB is situated in the heart of the race village and will have extensive screens showcasing the racing but does not have direct views of the race course.

- A small number of places on boats for each race day (at a cost to members)

- A Kiwi themed bar for meeting after race days to digest the days sailing surrounded by fellow kiwis.
We expect that demand will exceed supply for some of these activities – specifically ETNZ Hospitality and Race Day viewing from the RCNB. On this basis a priority system will be implemented as follows:

RACE DAY REQUESTS
Please note – 'requested days' does not guarantee you will get access on these days. RNZYS will collect all member requests and then allocate spots based on available capacity and the priority system in place. While every effort will be made to accommodate all members – demand will exceed supply.

Members will be offered - in early August - confirmed dates for the Preliminary Regatta, Round Robins and Semi Finals of the Challenger Series plus the Youth America’s Cup. Members will then have 3 days to confirm or decline these spots before they are offered to other members.

Members will be offered - in early September - confirmed dates for the Challenger Series Final, Puig Women’s Americas Cup and the 37th America’s Cup. Members will then have 3 days to confirm or decline these spots before they are offered to other members.

Additional spots will be offered after this time, up to and including the day of racing, if they become available or additional race days are added. This reflects the nature of sailing and the unpredictability of race days.
All spots are available – strictly to MEMBERS ONLY. Members are not able to have guests join them for these spots. RNZYS Barcelona Membership cards will be required to be presented both at the Emirates Team New Zealand Hospitality and Real Club Nautico de Barcelona security check points. If members can not present these cards – entry WILL BE DECLINED. This will be strictly enforced.
