1. Introduction
The Maine New Business Recovery Grant and Technical Assistance Program is intended to assist Maine businesses located in Cumberland County Maine which began operations after January 1, 2020 and before May 11, 2023, suffered demonstrable negative economic impacts as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, and have not been reimbursed for those negative economic impacts by any other state or federal pandemic relief program.
The program is also intended to provide technical assistance to qualified businesses to enable them to complete an application for a program grant, and to help businesses improve their practices in ways that sustain and expand their operations.
