Survey for MD Statewide Joint Land Use Study (JLUS) for those who have not participated in a JLUS

Military installations have a history of positive economic contributions to the surrounding communities in Maryland. In order to sustain this relationship and promote compatibility between the surrounding community and military installations, and to gain a better understanding of the relationship between Maryland’s military installations and the surrounding communities, we would appreciate your participation in the following questionnaire. The State of Maryland is sponsoring a statewide Joint Land Use Study (JLUS), sponsored by the State of Maryland Department of Commerce. The Statewide JLUS is a community-driven process to examine local land use issues when military installations and communities are neighbors. The State-wide JLUS will ultimately produce a road map to address land use issues and promote compatible land use in the study jurisdictions adjacent to military operational areas. To identify land use issues and generate solutions, we need to consider all perspectives and hear from everyone who's affected. Please help by taking the following 5-10 minute survey. We appreciate your input and request that you do not complete this survey more than once. While you are always welcome to provide your input on the Maryland Statewide JLUS to XXXX@lXX-jlus.org, we will only receive surveys until 5:00 p.m. on Jan 31, 2018.
