The City of Albuquerque is beginning the process of hiring a new Chief of Police. The Chief of Police has many duties that include managing the operations of the Albuquerque Police Department (APD), developing and implementing new policies and programs to fight crime, communicating regularly with the community and the media, and serving as a role model for APD officers and the community at large.

This survey seeks to gather input and suggestions from Albuquerque residents that will guide the recruitment and selection processes. The survey should take less than 10 minutes to complete. We appreciate your time and thoughtful responses to this survey.

Your responses to the survey are anonymous. This means that no one will know your answers or even if you took the survey. If you choose to participate in the survey, you are free to skip any questions or discontinue at any time.

The survey will be available through December 7, 2020.
