We have two open Members at Large positions this year. We received two nominations for these posts. Please indicate your acceptance of each candidate below.

Reena Khosla, Senior Systems Analyst, Kansas State University

Reena is a Senior Systems Analyst at Kansas State University’s Office of Institutional Research and Assessment. Prior to her current position, she was the Senior BI Data Warehouse Developer/Analyst at Colorado State University for the past 17 years. She works with university administrators to facilitate their data needs. With 20-years of productive track record of success in exceeding and meeting milestones within the higher education realm, Reena believes in the university mission of advancing students. Reena has specialized expertise in higher education data and analytics that inform decisions and drive many of the university academic and student success initiatives and high impact practices.

Reena’s technical expertise are in Data Warehouse Design, Data Modeling, Business Intelligence, ETL, and designing public-facing dashboards with data visualizations and infographics. Reena is an exceptional communicator and consensus builder who believes in synergistic collaboration to move technical projects forward. Reena believes in sharing her knowledge via presenting at national conferences and university professional development days.

Reena earned her undergraduate in computer engineering from India and a master’s in computer science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. She is the recipient of the IBI “i built it” 2020 national award for designing the Colorado State University’s Institutional Research Self Service Analytics Portals.

In her spare time, Reena enjoys reading, hiking, running, and traveling.

Reena has been a member of HEDW since 2012.
Meghal Parikh, Senior Director of Institutional Analytics, Rollins College

Meghal Parikh (he/him/his), M.S., is the Sr. Director of Institutional Analytics at Rollins College, a small liberal arts college in Orlando, FL. He has more than 12 years of experience working and leading in higher education data analytics offices – at a small school as well as at a large university. He provides analytical support to projects that aid planning and decision-making at the institutional level. At Rollins College, he provides consultation and direct support to the Data Warehouse project as well and also helps co-lead the Data Governance efforts of the college. He specializes in developing creative visualizations of quantitative and qualitative data to communicate complex information to college leadership. He believes in expanding the data access on higher ed campuses using technology to promote users to perform self-service analytics. Prior to Rollins, he has worked at University of Central Florida where he supported development and automation of BI reports by using SAS tools. He also assisted in ad-hoc data requests, numerous R&D tasks and development of a college benchmarking data warehouse.

Meghal is an experienced, collaborative researcher with a deep understanding of data analytics in higher education. As a dedicated higher ed data professional and a developing leader in the field, he wants to play a significant role in cross-institutional higher ed teams and projects that have a goal to redefine higher education excellence metrics.

Meghal has been a member of HEDW since 2018.
