SHARE Cancer Support's LGBTQIA+ Survey |
SHARE Cancer Support is launching an LGBTQIA+* initiative. As part of that, we are conducting a survey to assess the needs of LGBTQIA+ individuals diagnosed with breast/chest or gynecologic (such as cervical, ovarian, or uterine/endometrial) cancer. The findings from the survey will help inform SHARE’s development of resources and educational offerings for LGBTQIA+ individuals diagnosed with breast/chest or gynecologic cancer.
We invite you to take the survey. We are asking you to participate because you identify as LGBTQIA+ and have been diagnosed with breast/chest or gynecologic cancer. The survey will ask questions about any patient support and education you’ve received since your diagnosis, your satisfaction with these services, and what resources would be helpful to you as an LGBTQIA+ person with cancer.
There are no significant risks to taking the survey, which will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Your answers will be anonymous, and any final report will be based on the collective responses to the survey.
You do not have to participate, and your current or future relationship with SHARE will not be affected, regardless of whether you do. If you decide to participate, you can stop at any time.
If you have questions about this survey, please contact SHARE at mnicholasalexander@sharecancersupport.org.
Thank you for your time.
