It’s that time of year — we're planning our 2026 Charity Bingo calendar! 🗓️ Each month, Charity Bingo at the Community Center raises thousands for Chartiers Friends of the Park 501(c)3 and a rotating local non-profit group. We only have 12 spots, so unfortunately not every applicant will be able to participate.

📍 Bingo is held the 2nd Thursday of each month

Preference is given to organizations with the below qualifications:
✔️ Must be a local non-profit, booster, or fundraising group
✔️ Must serve or be based in Chartiers Township
✔️ Provide 10 volunteers and raffle baskets for your Bingo night
🤝 Small group? Team up with another for a combined night!

If you are not Chartiers based, we can add you to a cancellation waitlist in the event of a cancellation.

What We Provide
-Venue
-Fully Hosted Bingo Night: Includes bingo cards, daubers, prizes, pull tabs, and additional games
-Kitchen Services: Food and drink sales handled by select staff
-Bingo Staff: Core team to run the event
-Basket Raffle Supplies: numbers, tickets, bins, tables, etc
-Event Setup and Teardown: Tables, chairs, and general logistics


What Your Group Will Provide
Basket Raffle Donations:
-Minimum of 25 baskets (all of our previous partners have supplied 30-40+ baskets for optimal profit) valued around $50+ minimum each
-our team handles raffle setup and teardown
-Popular items include lottery tickets, alcohol, and gift cards targeting the typical bingo crowd

Volunteers (10):
-2–3 Kitchen Volunteers with concession experience (kitchen volunteers 4:30-8:30)
-5 Floor/Check-In Volunteers comfortable with walking, standing, and handling cash (4:40pm start time)
-2 Raffle Volunteers to manage basket raffle and 50/50 sales (seated tasks – 4:40pm start time)
-The basket raffle can be set up anytime, but typically groups set it up from 4-4:40pm. At 4:40pm it should be ready to go.
-Volunteers will be active and cannot participate in bingo games
-All volunteers must be adults; no minors permitted due to gambling regulations
-Youth aged 16–17 may attend as players with an accompanying adult


What Your Organization Earns
-100% of all Basket Raffle proceeds
-50% of 50/50 Raffle proceeds (the other 50% goes to the winner)
-25% of Kitchen Sales (approx. half the kitchen profits)
-10% of Bingo Paper Sales for regular games
-Your group will take home the basket raffle and 50/50 proceeds on the night of bingo; the other funds will come within 2 weeks from us via check


Keys to Fundraising Success
-Attendance is everything! The more players you bring, the more you earn.
-Target the traditional bingo demographic (grandparents, retirees, etc.)—they tend to spend the most.
-Groups that successfully gather high-quality basket donations and recruit committed volunteers typically raise $2,500–$3,800+ per event.
- This fundraiser is ideal for groups who can easily get basket donations and have enough volunteers to cover the requirements of the event


Event Timeline
-4:00 PM: Basket raffle setup begins (earlier drop-offs can be arranged)
-4:30PM: Kitchen Volunteer check in
-4:40 PM: Volunteer check-in and training (no later than 4:45 PM)
-5:00 PM: Doors open to the public
-6:30 PM: Early Bird Bingo games begin
-Immediately after: Regular and Special Bingo games start
-Bingo is usually over by 8:45pm and all we need to do is get the garbage out to the dumpster and we are done!
