Campaign Readiness Assessment 2018

In September of 2011, Immaculate Conception Parish announced the, “We are IC” capital campaign.  Through the generosity of hundreds of parish families, almost $3,000,000 was raised over a five-year time period.  Improvements were realized throughout the parish campus, providing safer facilities for the community to worship, learn and serve others.  Immaculate Conception is now two years past the conclusion of the 2011 campaign and ready to consider pursuing the remaining projects that were itemized as “will address when funds become available” in the previous campaign (please see the list below; prices are best estimates at this time).

The Chapel renovation is long overdue, as the space was built in 1961 and has changed very little since.  The Chapel is the primary worship space for the parish and home to graduations for the grade school and high school as well as assemblies and missions for the parish at large.  The updates are much more than cosmetic, as the scope of work will also include asbestos abatement, improved lighting and sound and new windows and doors for energy efficiency and security.

Improvements to the overall Parish Center building will include addressing accessibility issues with the installation of an elevator to serve the gymnasium and MPH.  Additional safety and security items will be addressed through new windows, doors, a keypad entry system and additional surveillance cameras.  Last but not least, the project will include improved heating and the installation of AC for the gymnasium.

A campaign readiness assessment is now underway and will conclude in August 2018 for parishioners to “put their handprints” on what happens next.  Please make your voice heard in this process by completing the survey below.  The survey will close on July 15, 2018.
