The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) is excited to begin planning improvements to Logan Park starting in 2026, with a goal to complete in the Fall of 2027. This work will build on the park design created in 2019 as part of the East of the River Long Range Plan.
Community engagement this spring and summer will play a key role in shaping the next steps. Your input will help guide priorities, refine design concepts, and ensure that future improvements reflect the needs and ideas of the neighborhood.
We invite you to share your thoughts and help shape the future of Logan Park.

$2,230,793 is allocated for improvements, including $450,000 that are specifically dedicated for the playground.

We want to hear from you about what you want to see improved in the park!

The vision plan updates include: updating both playgrounds, upgrading and adding additional tennis and basketball courts, art incorporated into the updates which could include an art walk, adding more naturalized/landscape areas, increasing the plaza and seating near the rec center, renovating the existing ballfields to include a multiuse field while removing one baseball infield, and updating trails.

MPRB doesn't have enough funding to make all of these improvements right now, so we want to hear what you think we should prioritize first.
