The goal of this survey is to receive feedback from the community about priority projects, direction of growth and project development. Eel Ground Chief and Council want to hear your input and suggestions.

What is Economic Development?
“Economic Development is projects, programs, activities and/or policies to improve the economic wellbeing and the quality of life in a community.”
What does Own Source Revenue (OSR) mean?
“Own-source revenue (OSR) is the revenue that an Indigenous government raises by collecting taxes, resource revenues and/or by generating business and other forms of income. Under self-government agreements, Indigenous governments use some of this revenue to contribute to the costs of their own operations, such as providing programs and/or services not funded through the government and/or assist its members.”
 
Some examples that OSR has been known to contribute to but are not limited to: Recreation, Infrastructure, Emergency assistance, Elders, community initiatives, housing, youth initiatives, culture and ceremony and many others.
