Lower West Green Bay Project Areas

We are collecting input to assist with the planning and prioritization of seven project areas along the west shore of lower Green Bay (map below). Scientists and natural resource managers recommended these projects to help improve fish and wildlife habitat and populations and to support delisting the Lower Green Bay and Fox River Area of Concern. This is the third in a series of three surveys evaluating 18 total project areas. If you'd like more information on the overall effort to delist the Area of Concern, please visit this Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources website: https://dnr.wi.gov/topic/greatlakes/greenbay.html

Specifically, we would like to learn about the economic and social benefits that stakeholders think these projects might create for communities in the Area of Concern. These could include short- or long-term effects on community identity, local tax base, employment or income levels, educational or recreational opportunities, public health, or family circumstances. Additionally, we are asking for any other feedback you may have regarding the projects. This form has nine sections, one dedicated to input on each of the seven projects, one that allows you to compare the projects, and one that asks a little about you.

Completing the input form will take about 15-20 minutes. Your input is anonymous. We will evaluate and summarize responses collectively and will not attribute comments to individuals. Thank you for taking the time to provide your input on these habitat restoration projects!
