Comment Form

COMPASS is seeking comment on:
  • Proposed changes to Communities in Motion 2040, the regional long-range transportation plan for Ada and Canyon Counties. The changes to Communities in Motion would add, remove, and change the scope of some projects to be funded during the life of the plan.
  • A transportation budget that shows how federal transportation dollars will be spent over the next five years in Ada and Canyon Counties (fiscal years 2018 – 2022). The budget, called the Regional Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), includes the 2018 federal Program of Projects proposed for funding by Valley Regional Transit. The COMPASS public participation process is being used to satisfy Valley Regional Transit’s Urbanized Area Formula Grant Program of Projects public outreach requirement.
  • An air quality conformity demonstration for Northern Ada County. This demonstration is required in areas, such as Northern Ada County, where air quality did not meet federal standards in the past. The demonstration must show that projects listed in the TIP and Communities in Motion comply with state air quality plans.
More information and copies of draft documents can be found online at http://www.compassidaho.org/comm/comments.htm.
