Call for Abstracts
Technology and Innovation: Shaping the Future of Chiropractic Education
Submissions due: June 1, 2024
INSTRUCTIONS
The 2024 WFC Global Education Conference aims to explore the intersection of technology and innovation in shaping the future of chiropractic education. Abstract submissions and workshop proposals focusing on technological advances and innovations in teaching and learning are preferred but not obligatory. All topics related to education and training in chiropractic will be considered.
Submissions:
a. Submissions must be in English and are limited to 250 words maximum. Word count does not include title, author names, or affiliations. Deadline: Submit your abstract by June 1, 2024
b. The submission should be structured as mentioned in the descriptions for each type.
- Abstract Education Research and Literature Reviews (Platform/Poster) abstracts
- Abstract Education Descriptive Report (including innovations) details about format for descriptive reports may be found here
- Workshop proposals
c. Submissions should not include references, tables, graphs, figures, pictures, or video.
d. All works related to education will be considered. Works related to technology are especially welcomed.
e. Submissions that have been previously presented at a WFC Education Conference or that are out of scope for this conference will not be considered.
f. A submission may be submitted if it has been presented at another conference or if it has been published after the date of the last WFC Education Conference (after November 5, 2022).
g. To be fair and allow space for others, presenters may not present more than 2 of any type. Thus, no more than two (2) submissions of any combination of the following: education research/literature reviews, education descriptive reports (innovations), and workshops, will be considered by the same presenter.
h. Although all will be considered, not all submissions will be accepted. Submissions that are abstracts of education research/literature reviews and abstracts of descriptive reports will undergo the peer review process. Workshop proposals will be sent to the conference planning committee for consideration and decision.
