Thanks to the generous support of Wells Fargo, we are pleased to offer scholarships for individual and organizational GCN members to attend the following programs. Please select one of the programs below. You will have the opportunity to specify your interest areas within your chosen program, but you do not have to identify an interest in order to be considered for an award. If you would like to apply for multiple programs, please be sure to fill out a separate application for each program. 

Nonprofit University Certificate Series Scholarship - $250
NU certificates
cover a wide variety of nonprofit competencies such as Management and Leadership, Marketing and Communications, Human Resources, Fundraising, and Finance and Accounting. Scholarship funds will partially cover one individual for their desired certificate series. Current member fees range from $275-$350.

Nonprofit University Individual Course Scholarship - $50
Scholarships of $50 are available for GCN’s full roster of core NU courses, covering diverse and essential topics like social media, data-driven fundraising, emotional intelligence, and more. Scholarships will partially cover one individual for their desired class. The current member fee is $75 per course.

Eligibility
To be considered for a scholarship award, you must meet the following requirements:

1. You must be an active staff or board member of an organization with a GCN membership
    AND / OR
   You must have an active individual GCN membership

2. You must commit to participate in an NU Certificate series OR NU individual class, within the 2020 calendar year by registering for your awarded program by September 30.

Application Deadline
Applications are due by 11:59 pm on Friday, August 28, 2020.

Awards
Scholarship recipients will be notified via email by September 4, 2020. You have until September 30, 2020 to register for your awarded program. 
Scholarship recipients must attend desired programs between August 15 and December 31, 2020, with funds redeemed by December 31, 2020.

Review Criteria
Applications will be reviewed by a panel of experts based on eligibility requirements and funds available for each program. Awards will be scaled to ensure a diversity of budget sizes and nonprofit sub-sectors receive scholarship support.
