Applicant Information
Thank you for your interest in The Fuel Foundation's 2024 Pay it Forward Scholarship. This application must be submitted to the Scholarship Coordinator by May 20, 2024.
In 2024, The Fuel Foundation will award 8 scholarships for a total of $25,000!
2 - $5,000 in honor of Marilyn Selvitelle
6 - $2,500
Who is Eligible?
• SIGMA Members’ adult or student employees, spouses, children, grandchildren and dependents of current employees.
• High School Seniors who have been accepted to college or trade school for Fall of 2024 with a minimum GPA of 2.5
• Students currently enrolled in a Trade School, Undergraduate, Graduate, and PhD program with a cumulative 2.5 College GPA AND a minimum of one full time quarter/semester completed.
• Individuals who have completed significant volunteer work in your community or school such as public service, community outreach, coaching, event volunteering, etc. (Supporting documentation required).
Application Materials
• This Completed Application, including all volunteer activities for 2023.
For those who are selected as winners:
• Official school transcripts (high school if graduating or cumulative college/trade school if already enrolled) showing your courses and grades completed through December 2023.
• Newly enrolled college or trade school students—letter of acceptance and your student ID number or equivalent.
Selection
Pay it Forward Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of volunteer work that impacted their communities for 2023.
Notification
Scholarships will be announced by June 26, 2024. The school will be contacted and your enrollment verified. Following verification, the checks will be mailed directly to your University/College/Trade School.
*SIGMA reserves the right to revise these conditions and procedures at any time and may choose to terminate the program.
