AMCA is excited to offer expanded professional development opportunities in 2026 through partnerships with both IIMC and the Arizona State Library, Archives, and Public Records division.
We will be hosting three Lunch and Learn sessions with Dr. Jai Ulrich, Associate Director of Professional Development with IIMC, to help members navigate the CMC/MMC application process. If you’re unsure what qualifies for education or experience points, or you’re not certain how to organize and submit your certificates, these sessions are designed for you! The first session will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 11:30 a.m., with additional sessions scheduled for April 22, 2026, and August 19, 2026, both also beginning at 11:30 a.m.
AMCA will also partner with the Arizona State Library, Archives, and Public Records division to host two Records Management 101 trainings. State representatives will be available to answer records management questions and walk agencies through the fundamentals of retention schedules. These trainings are ideal for clerks seeking to strengthen compliance, improve internal processes, and build a solid foundation in records management.
All sessions will be hosted via Zoom and a registration link will be provided for the dates registered.
