Some people who may have been recently exposed to monkeypox or are at high risk of getting monkeypox are recommended to receive the Jynneos vaccine. This vaccine has been fully approved by the FDA for the prevention of monkeypox in people aged 18 years and older. The FDA also has issued an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) that allows for use of the vaccine in individuals younger than 18 years of age determined to be at high risk of monkeypox infection. NOTE: If you currently have a fever, rash, or sores that may be due to monkeypox, you cannot get vaccinated. Instead, you should separate yourself from others and contact your health care provider to get tested as soon as possible. Se han identificado casos recientes del monkeypox en Colorado.
