AIP Publishing is seeking the next Associate Editor for Biointerphases.
Biointerphases is seeking active researchers in the following fields to join the editorial team as Associate Editors:
• Biomaterials and bio-surface modification
• Nano-bio interface
• Non-fouling materials
• Biofilms / biofouling
• interface spectroscopy
• Molecular modeling
Associate Editors at Biointerphases play a vital role in ensuring the quality and relevance of the journal’s content. They manage the peer review process for assigned manuscripts, making editorial decisions based on reviewer feedback while maintaining ethical standards and addressing any issues such as appeals or ethical concerns. Beyond editorial responsibilities, they actively engage with the research community by encouraging submissions, participating in journal outreach and marketing efforts, and promoting the journal at scientific meetings.

Biointerphases emphasizes quantitative characterization of biomaterials and biological interfaces. As an interdisciplinary journal, a strong foundation of chemistry, physics, biology, engineering, theory, and/or modelling is incorporated into originated articles, reviews, tutorials, and opinionated essays.
